In the fall of nineteen hundred ninety eight, my mother was burning a lot of candles in the home. She was using candles to create an atmosphere that was pleasing to the eye and nose. Being a farmer, I was looking for a hobby to keep me busy in the winter, when I had free time. Mom began saying that candles would make a good little side business... So in November of 1998, I began my research. I used as many books and internet sites as I could find. I learned as much as I could, but the real learning began when I started the candle making process. I struggled and learned many lessons, but with persistence and a lot of effort I arrived with a quality made candle that I feel is rivaled by no one. Since 1998, my hobby has grown into a well-established candle making business.
